FAQ's
We want to make your experience here as enjoyable as possible. If you have a question that is not answered below, call or email us.
-
What is a waterless pedicure and why do you only offer this kind of service?A waterless pedicure eliminates foot soaking in a water basin or whirlpool jet spa. We have chosen to offer waterless pedicures because we are an eco-friendly pedi spa that understands twelve to fifteen gallons of water are used during a traditional pedicure. We are conserving water while protecting against water-borne bacteria. At The Pedisphere, we take the health and safety of our clients seriously.
-
How are the feet cleaned without soaking them?We use hot towels, steam and medical-grade products to ensure that the feet are clean and smooth at the end of the service.
-
What are the benefits of a waterless pedicure?Waterless pedicures are safe and hygienic and provide peace of mind to diabetics, immunocompromised people, and those with sensitive skin. Calluses, corns and any other issues can be appropriately seen and addressed when the skin is dry. Nail polish lasts longer. Clients can relax without having to put their feet in and out of water or prop their feet on the rigid foot pedestal.
-
What is your policy for scheduling an appointment online?A deposit is required at the time of booking the appointment. The balance will be paid on the day of the service. We do this to ensure we lose no time or money due to no shows. Email a picture of the tops and bottoms of both feet to us to ensure you are scheduling the right service. Example: If a client requests the Pedi Essential, but has thick toenails and excessive calluses, we will contact the client to advise the client to schedule the Pedi Wellness or the Advanced Pedi Wellness. Appointments can also be made in-person with a deposit and pictures. We will approve the booking once we have the deposit and pictures. When scheduling an appointment for someone other than yourself, please provide the information of the person who will receive the service.
-
What is your cancellation policy? We kindly ask for a 24-hour notice if you cannot keep your appointment. This allows us the opportunity to give another client the available spot. If we do not receive a 24-hour notice, the deposit will not be refunded and the client will have to pay another deposit when scheduling the next appointment. Three cancelled appointments will result in the client losing the privilege to book with us again.
-
What if I am late?Things happen. If you are going to be a few minutes late, kindly call us to let us know. We will adjust your remaining service time to accomodate you. If you are going to be more than 15 minutes, that counts as a no-show. Your deposit will be forfeited and you will need to schedule a new appointment with a new deposit.
-
May I use my cell phone or other electronics during my service? We value our time with you and want your experience to be stress-free. So that you and other clients are able to achieve the effectiveness of the services, please refrain from using cell phones, smart watches and other electronics while at the spa. If you must use your phone, please kindly step outside.
-
Are children allowed? We love and enjoy children, however, we do not offer any services to them. We respectfully request that children of all ages be left with a loving adult so you and others can achieve maximum relaxation. If you do not have someone to watch your child, please reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment.
-
Can I bring someone with me on the day of my appointment?Due to space limitations, we can only accomodate the client receiving the service.
-
Should I tip?Tipping is not mandatory, but very much appreciated. It is normal to leave a 15% to 20% tip if you enjoyed your service.
-
What if I have gel polish or acrylic on my nails? Please remove all nail enhancements prior to your appointment. We will not honor your appointment if you show up with anything on your toenails except regular nail polish. Your deposit will be forfeited and you will need to pay a new one to reschedule.
